How does the app work?

Businesses in retail and restaurants upload shifts they need filled when their existing staff is unavailable. We manage the. entire. onboarding and payment for our users. SHFTRs can then sign up to cover shifts at any of the businesses around them after they complete our onboarding process and any additional business specific trainings where applicable.

How long does it take to get a job

TheSHFTApp allows you to immediately sign up for any shift near you! you do not need to apply or interview anymore.

How much does the app pay?

Our platform is only charged for shifts that are covered. We charge a pre-arranged hourly rate for shift coverages currently between $8-$20+/hr. (Varies by state and locality)

Are SHFTRs employees?

SHFTRs are independent contractors. We act as platform for businesses to offer their shifts, and give SHFTRs resources to help them succeed when using our app. This system also allows for SHFTRs to take ownership of their work and operate to the highest standards and build their personal brands.

What about training?

We offer a basic foundational training in our onboarding for SHFTRs that runs them through areas like customer service, doing tasks, cleanliness in the workplace, working with different businesses and processes, rules and regulations, and general operation procedures. Any additional business specifics can be taught by you in a training session or by uploading material of your own.

What happens when problems arise?

Each business and SHFTR is assigned their personal point of contact that they may reach in allocated hours or general support staff at any other point. We also have forms available for incidents along with last minute changes to report. We also are constantly releasing updates to streamline these processes and optimize your experience.

How do we get payed?

TheSHFTApp sends weekly payouts through Stripe, we make sure the business payed for the service prior to the completion of the shift.
