With the onset of COVID-19, businesses in the US were introduced to a new problem, a labor shortage. Founder and CEO Najib Albadrasawi, saw another problem from the side of an individual, a struggle to find work that fits his needs. After researching reasons behind the labor shortage and looking at the needs of a ready workforce, TheSHFTApp was created!

Founder and CEO Najib Albadrasawi founded the company after starting some entrepreneurial endeavors where he found a need to work for extra money, but struggled to commit to any jobs without making sacrifices to his goals. This dilemma lead to the ideation of TheSHFTApp, as he felt it was exactly what we need to be able to pursue our passions, and always have work available when we need it!
